About temp-mail.zone
temp-mail.zone is a free email inbox you can keep. You get an address in one click, without a sign-up form, a password or a phone number, and you can come back to it whenever you like.
Why we built it
Free email has quietly become less free. Most providers now want a phone number before they will open an account, and throwaway inbox sites delete your messages just when you need them, when the password reset, the receipt or the "confirm it's you" email finally arrives.
We wanted something in between: an address that is quick to get and asks for nothing, but that is still there next week.
How it works
Every address lives on one of our mail domains, which are ordinary-looking domains that do nothing except receive mail for temp-mail.zone. When a message arrives, our mail server stores it, cleans it for safe display and shows it in the inbox for that address. If the message contains a verification code, we pick the code out and show it at the top.
Messages are stored encrypted on our servers and backed up, so they do not disappear when a server is restarted or replaced.
What we don't do
- We do not ask who you are.
- We do not send email, so your address cannot be used to send spam through us.
- We do not sell or rent addresses or messages.
- We do not show ads.
